Free developer tools
Developer work is full of small chores: reading an API response, decoding a token, checking a hash, comparing two versions of a file. These tools do them in the browser, so you can paste real data without sending it anywhere. Start with the JSON formatter, decode a token with the JWT decoder, or encode text with Base64 and URL encoding.
Need ids or checksums? The UUID generator makes v4 and v7 in bulk and the hash generator covers MD5, SHA and CRC32. To see what changed between two texts, use the diff checker. New to tokens? Read what a JWT is.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste tokens and API responses?
The tools run entirely in your browser and send nothing to a server, so what you paste stays on your device. Still, avoid pasting live production secrets on any shared computer.
Why does a JWT decoder not prove a token is genuine?
A JWT is only encoded, not encrypted, so anyone can read it. Only checking the signature with the right key shows it was not altered, which the JWT tool can do locally.
How large an input can the tools handle?
Text tools such as the JSON formatter and the diff checker accept up to 20 MB and do the heavy work in the background. The hash tool reads files up to 2 GB.
Do these tools work offline?
After your first visit, the site is cached by your browser, so most tools keep working without a connection.
