Why does it download a model the first time?
The AI model is a file of a few megabytes that is downloaded once and saved in your browser, so later photos are processed straight away, even with a slow connection.
Can I make a passport or ID photo with a white background?
Yes. Choose the “Person / portrait” type, then select the white background and download the PNG. Check your country’s photo rules for size and framing.
It missed part of my photo. What can I do?
Try the other photo type, use a photo with a clear difference between the subject and the background, and keep “Smooth edges” on for cleaner outlines.
