Tips and limits
- For a raffle with numbered tickets, set the range to match the first and last ticket.
- Need a dice roll? Use a range of 1 to 6.
- Very wide ranges make thin slices, so the numbers are hidden on the wheel; the winner is always shown clearly below it.
Number Wheel
Sometimes the thing you need to pick is simply a number: a raffle ticket, a seat, a student number, a turn order, a score to guess. The number wheel builds the wheel for you from any range you type. Set the first and last number, and every whole number in between becomes a slice, up to 500 of them. The default range is 1 to 10, which is perfect for a quick game at home.
Every number has the same chance, because the winner is chosen by your device’s secure random generator and the animation is arranged to stop on it. For several distinct numbers, such as lottery-style draws, use “Remove winner” after each spin so a number cannot come up twice. Wide ranges look crowded, so the numbers are hidden on very large wheels, but the winner always appears in big type under the wheel. If your list is made of words rather than numbers, use the main spin wheel. You may also like the yes or no wheel, the what to eat wheel and the truth or dare wheel.

Frequently asked questions
What is the biggest range I can use?
The wheel holds up to 500 numbers. If your range is larger, only the first 500 numbers are used.
Can the same number come up twice?
Yes, unless you press “Remove winner” after each spin. Removing winners makes every draw different.
Does it work with negative numbers?
Yes. Type a negative first number, such as −5 to 5, and the wheel includes the negatives.
How do I enter names in the wheel?
Type one name per line in the box next to the wheel, or paste a ready-made list from a file or chat. Each line becomes a slice at once, and names in Arabic, English, numbers or any other words all work.
Is the wheel of names really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen first with your device’s secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), without bias, and the animation is then arranged to land on that entry. Every entry has the same chance.
How many entries can I add?
Up to 500. Labels are shortened when they are long, and on very large wheels the names are hidden but the winner is still shown below.
