Tips and limits
- Agree before starting that anyone may skip a prompt once, so nobody feels forced.
- Keep prompts short: long labels are cut to fit on a slice, though the full text appears in the result.
- For a mixed-age group, write two lists, one for children and one for adults, and open each in turn.
Truth or Dare Wheel
Truth or dare is a classic for a reason: it turns a quiet evening into laughter in minutes. The problem is usually the preparation, because someone has to invent the questions and the group has to agree they are fair. This wheel does the work. It comes with ten original, gentle prompts, half questions and half challenges, written to be safe for a family gathering: nothing embarrassing, nothing risky and nothing that needs props.
Pass the device around the circle. Whoever spins reads the result aloud and either answers honestly or performs the dare. Because the wheel is random, nobody can accuse the host of picking on them. You can tune it for your group by editing the list: shorten the prompts for younger children, add inside jokes for friends, or write classroom-friendly questions for a lesson break. Set a rule that any player may skip one prompt per game. The same wheel works with names through the main spin wheel, and you can try the what to eat wheel, the yes or no wheel or the number wheel as well.
Step-by-step guides
Frequently asked questions
Are the questions and dares suitable for children?
Yes. The built-in prompts are light and family-friendly. You are free to edit or replace any of them to suit your group.
Can I add my own questions and challenges?
Yes. Type one prompt per line. Starting each line with “Truth:” or “Dare:” makes the result easy to read aloud.
Is it fair to every player?
Yes. Each spin is independent and chosen by your device’s secure random generator, so no player is favoured.
Can we use it in class?
Yes. Fullscreen mode shows a large wheel on a screen, and teachers can replace the prompts with topic questions.
How do I enter names in the wheel?
Type one name per line in the box next to the wheel, or paste a ready-made list from a file or chat. Each line becomes a slice at once, and names in Arabic, English, numbers or any other words all work.
Is the wheel of names really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen first with your device’s secure random generator (crypto.getRandomValues), without bias, and the animation is then arranged to land on that entry. Every entry has the same chance.
How many entries can I add?
Up to 500. Labels are shortened when they are long, and on very large wheels the names are hidden but the winner is still shown below.
